Welcome to GLOW Club Tropoje

GLOW Club Tropoje was established in August of 2019 by United States Peace Corps volunteers in the city of Bajram Curri.  The club provided 30 girls of Tropoje ages between 14-18 with out-of-school safe spaces to learn and explore with trusted and knowledgeable mentors to help them discover new techniques for self-empowerment, advocacy, and skill-building, so girls have the tools they need to grow into confident, self-aware, and successful women.  Today the club has established its first Youth Center in City of Bajram Curri. 

 Our mission is to empower every girl to believe in herself and her abilities, safeguard her rights, and unleash her full potential. Through this mission, we strive to elevate the social status of girls in our society, fostering a better quality of life for all community members, especially those who are disabled or face higher risks. By engaging in communicative initiatives and enhancing our leadership skills, we aim to make positive and lasting contributions to our community. 

GLOW of Tropoje will continue working in a sustainable way, bringing positive changes in the lives of girls and the community, extending these activities even in rural areas of Tropoje. GLOW will be an NGO in the future, and it aims to be recognized nationally and internationally as one of the organizations that advocates and lobbies strongly for the role of women in Albanian society.
